Cookies and browser storage
Advertising scripts remain disabled on LocateKit. Public pages load Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity through Google Tag Manager. Analytics storage is enabled; advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalization remain denied. The public site does not use a language-preference cookie or an advertising cookie consent banner.
Analytics storage
Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits and measure page views. Microsoft Clarity may use _clck and _clsk to connect visitor interactions and session recordings, subject to its consent requirements. These scripts are excluded from private and noindex pages, including live-location sharing and viewing, the radius map and photo metadata tools.
Tool state
Our tools keep their working state in the page. A shared radius map includes coordinates and radius in its URL. A live-location viewer link contains the access credentials needed to view that session. Treat those links as private, because anyone who receives or forwards them can open the same view.
Third-party connections
Map pages request map tiles from Esri. Hosting and security requests pass through Cloudflare. Third-party requests are distinct from advertising cookies and can reveal your IP address and information about the request. See the privacy notice for details.
Your browser controls
You can clear site data or change location permission through your browser settings. Clearing data does not revoke a location link that you already sent. Use Stop sharing while the sharing page remains open, or wait for the session to expire after 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
Questions about storage or privacy can be sent via the contact page and are answered within two working days.
