Phone tools that run on your device

Practical lookups that work entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded to a server, because everything runs locally on this page.

Phone number inspector

Enter any phone number with its international prefix and find out which country issued it, the exact E.164 form, and how the number decomposes.

Type at least the international prefix, for example +421, +44 or +1.

IMEI validator

Enter a 15-digit IMEI and check whether its structure is valid - the check digit, the type allocation code, and what the number can and cannot tell you. Dial *#06# on any phone to display its IMEI. Dedicated page: IMEI check.

How the number inspector works

Every phone number starts with a country calling code defined by the ITU E.164 standard: +421 for Slovakia, +44 for the UK, +1 for the US and Canada, and so on. The inspector matches the longest known prefix against a table of 244 country codes and tells you where the number was issued.

That is genuinely useful when a stranger's number shows up in your calls, in a classifieds chat, or in a suspicious SMS: at minimum you learn the region the caller claims, which is often enough to spot a spoofed or unexpected origin. What it cannot do is locate the phone. A calling code says nothing about where the handset is right now; for that you need the Find My or Find My Device ecosystem, which requires account access.

The whole lookup runs client-side: the country table ships with the page, your input never leaves the browser, and there is no account, no logging, and no rate limit.
